3 Boca Teams Prepare for Fall Openers
September 7, 2001
The Jersey Shore Boca Men’s team, U13s and U11s are making final preparations for their fall 2001 season opening games.
The Boca men will square off against a colorful Long Branch Inter squad on Saturday, September 16th at home. The Boca men’ roster will include some former local high-school, college and professional standouts such as Kirk Pericciuoli, Adam Curtis, Eddie Decker and Tommy Sauer and should be very competitive in GSSL League play.
The U13s, under the direction of coach Walt Pericciuoli, come off a very busy summer tournament schedule which saw them face several highly competitive teams including the USYSA Region I champions. The U13s are on the road this Saturday in a South Jersey Soccer League match against a powerful Winslow club.
And the U11s begin their inaugural season with our club under the direction of coaches Al Schwartz and Al Schwartz Jr. The U11s captured the SJ Barons/MAPS Summer Invitational Tournament two weeks ago. They will also be on the road against long-time club rival Cherry Hill in their first South Jersey Soccer League game.
